Dr. Elaine Ingham
In one magical year, I met my first two soil teachers. Spring 2012, I worked at the Rodale Institute, one of the US’ founding organic institutions in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, where I learned the Soil Food Web directly from Dr. Elaine Ingham. My agronomy consulting has leaned heavily on the soil microbiome ever since.
Graeme Sait’s Certificate in Nutrition Farming
The following Spring, I completed Graeme Sait’s Certificate in Nutrition Farming in Ontario, Canada, in which he teaches the interconnections between soil biology, soil chemistry, the carbon cycle, water cycle, and human health. I knew this would be my life’s unfolding devotion.
Dr. Nasha Winters
My human health inspiration, Dr. Nasha Winters, came into my life in 2018. Our collaboration includes co-authoring for ACRES USA magazine and supporting her connection to regenerative ag, while I graduated her Terrain Advocate program. Dr. Winters’ Terrain framework is the approach I utilize in human health, and I can connect clients to additional Terrain practitioners for further support.
