Hi, I am Danielle - you can call me Dani!
Agriculture consultant. Independent educator. Terrain Health Advocate. Seeker.
My journey - woven through the fields of farming, medicine and consciousness - thrives on re-connection to Nature through the Soil and microbiomes that support all Life.
From agronomist to educator...
I have developed my professional career as a certified agronomist, though I am not your typical agronomist. Today, I introduce myself as an independent educator. I speak for Soil and help farmers understand how their fertility and management, along with thoughts and beliefs, impact Soil. Recently, I've added training in human health, under Dr. Nasha Winters, because people cannot remove their personal microbiome from the Soil of microbiomes we live in. I incorporate the Terrain's mental/emotional “bucket,” and conscious awareness for how one can more intently steward land and body.

Launching Deep Soil

In summer 2021, I left corporate America to work for myself. After consulting with farmers in “sales agronomist” roles since 2013, I could no longer ignore the bigger picture of human well-being, the invisible microbiomes and greater ecosystem that affect a farm’s productivity and quality of the food grown. Rather than talking “products,” I now advocate for all microbiome Life (people included!) that ultimately grows more Life. Over the first 5 years, I’ve supported clients with soil science, including teaching about humic and fulvic acids as tools to regenerate Soil. I’ve also presented soil health/human health intersections, opening curiosity into how human wellness and dis-ease are underpinned by Soil.
Today and beyond: farmer and consumer!
The reality is that everything is connected, and everything touches the Soil; all nourishment and toxicity flows through Soil, water and air to affect all plants, animals and humans. The goal is enlivened stewardship of land and body: how are you caring for all aspects of Life?
This looks like growers gaining awareness of their personal health behind farming decisions, and for consumers to connect more to their microbiome, through knowing the farmer(s) growing their food and the environment they’re inhabiting.
